This is the third time in the last four seasons that the Canucks will serve as the Flyers’ opponent in a home opener alongside 2021-22 and 2023-24.
Philadelphia won last year’s home opener against Vancouver by a 2-0 score on October 17th as Egor Zamula racked up his first NHL goal and Sean Couturier scored on a penalty shot for the Flyers.
The Flyers have previously faced the Canucks five times as their first home opponent with a 4-0-1 record in those games.
