The Philadelphia Flyers have selected Egor Zavragin with the 87th overall pick in the draft.
Zavragin stands at 6’2” and 183 pounds and is a left-hand catching goaltender and joins a talented goalie pool in Philadelphia.
He is 17 years old and plays for Mamonty Yugry, a junior hockey team in Russia’s MHL. He had a successful season in 2022-2023, holding a record of 21-11-6. He also posed a .920 SV%, and 2.49 GAA.
In the MHL playoffs, he went 2-2 with a .927 SV% and a 2.68 GAA.
The Flyers add another goalie to their prospect pool, creating more wonder about the future of the net in Philadelphia.
