Zayde Wisdom undergoes shoulder surgery

Top Philadelphia Flyers prospect Zayde Wisdom (19) underwent successful shoulder surgery Friday in Philadelphia.

Wisdom had a breakout season last year in Lehigh Valley with 18 points (7 G, 11 A) in 28 games. He would not have been eligible for American Hockey League play in a normal year, but Canadian junior players joined their respective NHL organizations during the pandemic.

The Lehigh Valley Phantoms were greatly aided by the play of 18 year olds Zayde Wisdom and Tyson Foerster en route to an 18-6-7 record and second place in a makeshift North Division.

The 2020 4th round pick will now be out indefinitely.
